BA LLB is a 5-year integrated undergraduate program that combines the study of Arts (Humanities) with Law. The course is designed to provide a strong foundation in social sciences such as Political Science, Sociology, Economics, and History, along with comprehensive legal education including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, and more.
It aims to develop legal professionals with a broad understanding of society, critical thinking abilities, and strong advocacy and communication skills. Graduates of this course are well-prepared for careers as lawyers, judges, legal advisors, civil servants, and legal consultants in various sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) in any stream from a recognized board.
A minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST categories) is usually required.
Duration
The BA LLB course is a 5-year program, divided into 10 semesters.
Each semester includes a combination of arts and law subjects, court visits, internships, moot court practice, and legal research projects.
